Assateague Island Beach Wedding Packages

Assateague Island is a beautiful setting for a beach wedding. There is a state and federal side. The federal side requires a Beach Wedding Permit. The entry fee on the Federal side is $15 per vehicle.

ALL Wedding Officiants, Photographers, Rental Services & Limousines MUST have a government issued Permit to conduct business on Assateague. Failure to provide a permit may result in disruption or cancellation of service by order of the Park Ranger.

Licensed Assateague Vendors will be able to send you a copy of their permit in advance of your wedding.

There are no hotels on Assateague but there are plenty of wild ponies!
Assateague is the most "natural" of all the beach wedding settings. Assateague Island Marriage Licenses are issued by the Worcester County Clerk:
