MP Steel
Rox Band

MPSteel is a steel drum duo playing the calypso of Harry Belafonte, the Brazilian bossa nova and samba of Jobim and Bonfa, the music of Trinidad as well as other recognizable songs. The duo works well as background music for pool and lawn parties, fitting appropriately below the conversation level of your guests.

Tom and Donna Clark have studied with the foremost pan players in this country as well as Ellie Mannett (considered to be the father of the modern Steel Drum). They have been to Trinidad and learned from visiting and listening to the best Steel Pan bands there.

Steel Drum Jimmy
Rox Band

I got interested in Steel Pan music when I was a trumpet player on a cruise ship. It's such a fun relaxing sound and I know you will enjoy my music as much as I do playing it for you! I've chosen some Reggae, Calypso, Soca, Smooth Jazz and of course, Jimmy Buffett songs to make your Caribbean Party perfect. For beach weddings I have all the wonderful classical favorites played on the Pan; Pachelbel Canon in D, Trumpet Voluntary, Ave Maria and of course your special requests! Summer and September bookings go fast so call me today!

Victor Provost
Rox Band

Victor Provost grew up on the small island of St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. At age 10, he began playing the SteelPan (sometimes called steel drum) in a local youth group. During his 6 years with that group he toured the U.S. & Europe twice, performing at Disney World (U.S.), Tivoli Gardens (Denmark), Lego Land (Germany), and several other international venues. Victor’s love for the SteelPan led him to continue his solo career, even after the group disbanded in 1995. Through the course of an 18 year career, he has performed hundreds of times across 10 countries, 5 Caribbean Islands, and most of the eastern U.S.

Having a SteelPan player at your wedding is a priceless experience. Traditional wedding repertoire is played on finely handcrafted SteelPan instruments. The sound is pure and beautiful and the music is heartfelt and meaningful. Wedding classics like Pachelbel’s Canon in D, Mendelsohn’s Wedding March, Bach’s Arioso, and Shubert’s Ave Maria take on a unique and pristine personality when played, expertly, on SteelPan. Request a special song ahead of time, and experience it like you never have before.
